Please shine down on me.
Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. golden Sun,
Hiding behind a tree.
These little children are asking you
To please come out so
We can play with you.
Oh Mr. Sun, Sun, Mr. golden Sun,
Please shine down on,
Please shine down on,
Please shine down on me!

“Going On a Picnic”
By Dr. Jean
CD: Happy Everything
We’re going on a picnic.
We’re going to pack a big one.
With sandwiches, cookies, and lemonade, too.
Look over there.
It’s some tall grass.
Can’t go over it.
Can’t go under it.
Can’t go around it.
I guess we’ll go through it.
Swish, swish, swish, swish!
Look over there.
It’s a lake…
I guess we’ll row across it.
Row, row, row your boat.
Look over there.
It’s a swamp…
Ooeey, gooey, ooey, gooey.
Look over there.
It’s a park.
It’s nice and shady.
It’s got a picnic bench.
We’re all so hungry
Let’s go eat!
Mmmmmmmm!
Song(s):
“You Are My Sunshine”
You are my sunshine
My only sunshine.
You make me happy
When skies are grey.
You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you.
Please don’t take my sunshine away.
Color Review: Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black, grey, white, & pink.
Song(s):
“Birdies”
Way up in the sky
The big birdies fly.
Way down in the nest
The little birds rest.
With a wing on the left,
And a wing on the right.
The little birds sleep
All through the night.
SHHHHHH!
DON’T WAKE UP THE BIRDIES!
Then up comes the sun,
The dew falls away.
Good morning! Good morning!
The little birds say.
